This collection of characters were inspired by the figures created for Tim Burton’s animated films. Like those figurines, these are entirely hand made.

Students started this project by creating a backstory for their own character, sketching ideas on paper, hand stitching/ stuffing, and then accessorizing each piece. The collection was published in a hard bound book.

The inspiration for this project was gadgets that could be found in James Bond spy movies.

Students designed, engineered and hand crafted these marshmellow shooters and then put them through several rounds of friendly competition with categories such as: best disguise, and longest distance shot.

Hand building and wheel throwing are both utilized to create functional, sculptural, and wearable ceramic items in the ms clay studio.

Individual works and group projects allow for self expression and peer collaboration.
