Mood boards and in-progress works illustrate the planning and design processes that go into many of my ap art students 2-d and drawing portfolios.

Finding and helping them activate their visuals voices is my top priority for the young artists who enroll in this course.

I teach classical training methods using traditional and digital media in my drawing and painting courses. Some of the techniques I cover are: sight measuring, structure, spacial relationships, light and shadow studies, perspective, and mark making.

I encourage my students to develop their own styles and utilize the principles of design when working on their compositions and during any kind of discourse in and around art.
