This series of drawings were done from observation using colored pencils on toned paper durning a trip to my family home in Albuquerque. The furniture and sculptures were either made by my dad, my sister or thrift store finds.

small batch products

The Indulgimals collection is a creative collaboration by Vector and Quill. The collection features quirky animals who are livin’ the good life. The items we print or laser cut and engrave are: greeting cards, dish towels, ornaments, napkin rings, and wall art on wood panels. Vector is Christine Tran who does so much including: laser cutting, hand painting, shipping/handling, the etsy site and so much more. I am Quill. I do the drawing, silk screen printing, and hand painting laser cut items. Sean Sullivan, my husband, also draws the animals (octopus, otter, elephant) and helps with the etsy site. Together, we do pop-up sales and open the etsy site during the months of November and December.

low relief dioramas

These narrative pieces are samples from a project I designed for my ceramics students so they can continue a ceramics practice when they are no longer in my class but still want to make things without needing access to a kiln and glazes.

They are made by pressing found objects such as toys and dollhouse furniture into clay and pouring plaster of Paris into the contained area and then finishing with acrylic paint after the plaster was set any dry. See videos below for more finishing techniques..
